Competition & Team Information

This is an MBA Points Competition, judged by the SC BBQ Association, however, membership with the association is not required to compete.

BBQ Competition and Sale will be held rain or shine!  Proceeds from sale of BBQ to benefit The Worthy Boys & Girls Camp as a service project by the York County Law Enforcement volunteers.

Competing teams will be allowed early entry to set up on Friday, April 25th at Winthrop Lake.  There will be a mandatory 5:00pm Judges Meeting; the head cook from each Team is required to attend.

Friday evening, April 25, 2008 ~ No Pork Night
Judging by the Come-See-Me celebrity judges will begin at 6:45pm with sales to the public beginning at 7:00pm during our Moonlight Jazz event.

Saturday morning, April 26, 2008 ~ Come-See-Me BBQ Cook-off!
Blind judging will begin by SC BBQ Association Judges as determined by the BBQ Marshall on Saturday, April 26, 2008, but no later than 10:00am.  The public sale of the BBQ will begin at 3:00pm during the Tailgate Party!
